All About M(ik)e

Hey, I'm Mike (or Mikey G if I'm feeling hip). 

From a very young age, I fell in love with puzzles, and that passion will only grow stronger as the years go by. I was constantly scribbling puzzle ideas in notebooks in high school and college, where I graduated with a degree in actuarial science (some of those problems were like puzzles themselves!!). Shortly afterward, I realized that my true calling was in teaching, which I've been doing for the past decade. I love what I do and am humbled to work with so many amazing students. Many know I love puzzles; many groan when I give them some!

I started constructing crosswords very casually in 2020. I then stumbled upon the Muggles forum in early 2021, and the rest is pretty much history, with my love of metas swiftly eclipsing the standard conundrums. Outside of crosswords (or inside of crosswords), I also enjoy logic problems, puns, coffee, smooth jazz, the Chicago Cubs, reading, MY GINGER CAT, puns, and repeating myself.
