Hey, I'm Mikey G!
From a very young age, I fell in love with puzzles, and that passion would only grow stronger as the years went by. I was constantly scribbling puzzle ideas in notebooks in high school and college, where I graduated with a degree in actuarial science (some of those problems were like puzzles themselves!!). Shortly afterward, I realized that my true calling was in teaching, which I've been doing for over 15 years. I love what I do and am humbled to work with so many amazing students. Many know I love puzzles; many groan when I give them some!
I started constructing crosswords very casually in 2020. I then stumbled upon the concept of the meta puzzle and was hooked immediately; this blog mostly showcases those, but in 2025, I started delving more into the art of constructing both themed and themeless puzzles. Outside of crosswords (or inside of crosswords), I also enjoy logic problems, puns, coffee, smooth jazz, the Chicago Cubs, reading, CATS ALL THE CATS, puns, and repeating myself.
