We had five themers in this puzzle, all going down and all the first of their kind (Mickey Mouse cartoon, element, Super Bowl winner, state, and amendment), making the answer FIRST DOWN! (This was made a bit more challenging by several who saw the prompt as "sports team" instead of "sports term").
